President and CEO - Mike Ferguson

Mike was born in Little Rock, AR, and he and his wife, Lyn, live in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, serving the Lord with WGO. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1977 with a BS in engineering. He was a partner in a construction company prior to going into ministry and served for 11 years before that in executive management roles for a major regional energy company. His daughter’s interest in missions at an early age prompted him to get involved with the mission’s efforts of his home church, Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock. Initially thinking he was preparing to release his daughter, Kelly, into the mission field he soon discovered God had a different plan. God’s call was actually not for Kelly but for him and Lyn to join WGO and the leadership team which they did in December of 1999. Mike has served as WGO President and on the board since 2002 and was named CEO in 2005. Mike and Lyn have two children, a daughter Kelly and a son Nicholas. Kelly is married to Chris Hotz and is mother to their six grandchildren, Catherine, Samuel, Mary, Esther, Jonathan, and David and live in Austin, TX. Nicholas and his wife, Caitlin, live in Seattle, WA.  Mike enjoys playing piano, golf and water sports.

CFO - Tony Dunaway

Tony joined WGO as Chief Financial Officer in June 2017. His early professional experience was in the corporate world as a CPA, followed by nearly two decades of serving Christian non-profit organizations in the areas of financial management and integrity, leadership development and compassionate care ministry. It was a conversation with a close friend and CEO that encouraged and affirmed Tony’s call to serve those in need. That conversation went something like, “Tony, it is obvious that God has given you a big heart for compassionate care ministry … God-like compassion and CPAs don’t normally go together… you need to explore that.” Most recently Tony served with an orphan care ministry in Zambia, Africa and now brings his collective ministry experiences to further the purposes of WGO. Tony loves… making a difference; empowering others to lead; international travel; a bold cup of coffee; an unlimited supply of chocolate; Sunday naps; ocean, beach and palm trees. Tony currently resides in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Honduras Field Director -  Otniel Zavala

Otniel was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, the youngest of three siblings. He had the blessing of being born into a Christian family where he was able to see and experience God’s faithfulness in many different ways. He graduated from high school at Academia Los Pinares, a Christian bilingual school, and later got a BS in Industrial Engineering from UNAH. For a little over 16 years he worked as an independent contractor providing simultaneous interpretation services for foreign and local government agencies, NGO’s, and international businesses. He also taught at and helped manage a non-profit Christian bilingual school for 9 years and served on the board of a Christian foundation in Honduras.

"Growing up I remember seeing how hard my parents worked to give us better opportunities in life and that etched in me a desire to help others in need. Coming to WGO has been a blessing and an answer to prayer to find an opportunity to use my abilities to impact the lives of others in a meaningful way that glorifies God. I enjoy the outdoors and visiting my family’s coffee plantation. I also enjoy engaging in any type of activities and projects where I can challenge myself to use my mechanical abilities (I like to do a lot of “hands-on” things)."

Belize Field Director - Andy Stout

Andy has lived in Belize with his family since 2010.  He is originally from Indiana and a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University.  His background is in Social Work where he spent most of his career working with delinquent youth in foster care.  After obtaining his Master's degree in Social Work from Robert's Wesleyan College, he continued to work with adolescent youth until 2007 when he transitioned into adult mental health. His experience in the mission field has been facilitating short term missions and local discipleship.
Andy and his wife Lisa have served on the mission field together for over a decade with time in Jamaica and in Belize. They grew up in Wabash Friends Church in Wabash, Indiana.  They have 2 children who have grown up primarily in Belize.  Their heart's passion is to see the body of Christ equipped to engage in the great commission where ever God has placed them.  "Working with WGO allows me to get to be part of how God is working both in Belize and in North America.  It is fun to watch how the short term experience can make lasting long term impact for His Kingdom."

 Human Resources Director- Mac Youngblood

Mac and Ashley along with their girls, Amelia and Addison, joined the ministry in July of 2015.  They hail from the town in Columbus, MS where Mac was in insurance sales and Ashley was a florist. They found the calling to join the mission field after two short term trips to Rancho Ebenezer.  With Mac’s business background, he found a great fit as the Director of Human Resources and Ashley found a role as a teacher at a local school near the Mission House. After fully putting their faith in God, He opened the doors fully to this new venture in their lives.
