Hello Ministry Partners,

I wanted to provide you with an update on how World Gospel Outreach (WGO) is taking steps to navigate this critical time in our world and continue to keep the lines of communication open with you all about our response to COVID-19.
During the COVID-19 crisis and beyond, our priority is to continue serving and evangelizing children and the poor, the safety of our staff and serve teams, and the long-term preservation of the ministry.  In the midst of this pandemic, we are ensuring care for the children at the Ranch and operating Serve Teams to minister to people when it is once again deemed safe. A crisis financial plan has been developed and implemented after much collaboration from the CEO, Executive Chairman and Board Members.  We are confident that once again we will see a time when the ministry initiatives we have seen the Lord bring to WGO will be in full swing and impact the faith of even more believers while simultaneously showing the love of God to His precious people in Honduras and Belize. Please know that as always, the donations received during this time are being treated with the highest accountability and discretion in directing these funds to the most in need areas.  Your donations are more critical to us now than ever, especially with the cancelling of most of our serve teams for the year. It is WGO's desire to receive Serve Teams in Honduras and Belize as soon as possible in a healthy and safe way. Both countries have been completely closed for land and air travel since the middle of March 2020 and it is projected to be this way for the foreseeable future. WGO is committed to continuing to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic in both countries and keep you updated as we receive in-country governmental guidance and more clarity as each country begins the reopening process and our steps to bringing back Serve Teams to both countries.
We appreciate all of your prayers, financial gifts, and most of all, your partnership in the ministry of reaching those in Honduras and Belize with the eternal hope of the Gospel.
Know that we are praying for each one of you and for the hand of God to cover us through this time.
In His Service,
Abel Peña
President and CEO
